This is the way by which you can retrieve your windows xp user password, if you forget that.
1) Restart the machine.
2)After coming to the User password window which is given below:

3) Press Alt + ctrl + Del from keyboard.

4) click on user name and enter Administrator.
5) ok.
After that u can log into Administrator account. Now u can remove ur user password.
6) Now you go user account window by clicking on start - control panel - user account - click on ur account then Remove password
